The objectives of the Association are:

2.1 To establish and maintain an Association open to all fire engineering graduates and students for membership with a view to promoting and protecting members' professional status, rights, benefits and interests generally and in relation to each other,
2.2 To promote fire engineering by organizing and conducting talks, seminars, exhibitions, and other activities as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the objectives of the Association,
2.3 To consider the position of the members individually or as a body in relation to the existing laws and regulations of Hong Kong and to promote amendments or support or oppose alterations therein where the interests of the members are or may be affected and to take similar action in regard to the relations and practice as between members of the Association and any Government officers or Departments and for any or all such purposes to take any necessary action as may appear necessary; and
2.4 To procure for the Association recognition by all relevant bodies in Hong Kong or elsewhere as the official representatives in Hong Kong of the members and to cooperate with and maintain relations with relevant bodies in Hong Kong or elsewhere when it is considered of advantage to the Association.
