IFE EXAMINATIONS 2026
The Examinations will be held on 26th March 2026 and 27th March 2026 (Thursday and Friday). Fees and timetable for respective examinations are as follows:

Several exam papers (i.e. Level 2 Certificate in Fire Science, Operations and Safety, Level 2 Award Certificate in Passive Fire Protection and Level 3 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection) are only available digitally and held online via the digital platform of IFE. The deadline for the application is 5th January 2026. Candidate will receive a confirmation email upon successful application. Candidate who does not receive the confirmation email should make enquiry via email at examhkife@hkife.org as soon as possible.
In case of cheque payment, a crossed cheque made payable to “The Institution of Fire Engineers (HK Branch)” for the appropriate examination fee is required to reach the following responsible person on or before the aforesaid deadline.
